As a Lead Visual Designer in the Consumer Rentals team, you will help shape intuitive, beautiful, and high-quality user experiences for over 75M monthly active users across web and native applications. You’ll become a subject matter expert in rental discovery and decision-making journeys, designing for consumer surfaces such as property detail pages, search interfaces, map experiences, and marketing landing pages.

Must-have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in the design industry, including 1+ year in a product-led organization.
• Proven record delivering multiple cross-functional projects.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to form well-informed opinions, while maintaining openness to new insights (“strong opinions, loosely held”).
• Familiarity with user-centric best practices and design thinking principles.
• Strategic Planning: Able to define quarterly or sprint design roadmaps aligned with product goals.
• Communication: Clear articulation of design decisions to both creative and non-design stakeholders.
• Project Management: Comfort tracking tasks, dependencies, and blockers in agile workflows.
• A “We, Not Me” mindset—collaborative, team-oriented, and invested in collective success.

Nice-to-have:

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
