This Content Asset Manager position is crucial for owning the quality, governance, and lifecycle of our Learning Content as it is released to learners and maintained within our technology system. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who drives discipline and execution to ensure our central content repository is managed efficiently.

What will you do:

As the Content Asset Manager, you will be the owner of the learning content lifecycle and quality standards.

Content Library Ownership and Implementation

  • Own the Content Library: Manage the company's central repository of all learning content, organising, cataloging, and maintaining it for easy accessibility and delivery via our Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Technical Documentation & Linking: Work with Programme Designers, Learning Designers, and Enterprise Learning Architects to collate technical documentation and ensure content is accurately linked to the right cohorts for personalised learning experiences

  • Metadata Management: Develop and enforce clear metadata and taxonomy standards to improve content search-ability and retrieval, which is a core function of a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system

Governance, Quality Assurance, and Compliance

  • Quality Control & Resolution: Own the final polish review of content, fixing any issues before it goes live. You will also fix or project manage the resolution of any polish or bug issues once content is live, working with minimal guidance

  • Establish and Enforce Content Governance: Support team upskilling on rules and standards for all learning content, ensuring adherence to our brand, tone of voice, and design standards

  • Rights Management (Compliance): While focused on learning content, you will apply fundamental asset management principles by helping ensure content usage complies with brand guidelines, licensing, and other internal standards

Content Lifecycle Management and Iteration

  • Project Manage Content Lifecycle: Work with the Data Analyst to track content usage and performance, then create data-driven recommendations for the team on which content needs to be updated, retired, or recreated

  • Strategic Execution: Project manage content iteration tasks, turning longer-term goals into smaller, actionable steps for team members or contractors

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively look for opportunities to iterate and improve content systems, utilising AI to make gainful improvements to our operating systems and content development practices. This role will help determine which tools are used to develop learning assets across programmes

  • Experience and Knowledge: You are a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of content management and governance

  • You are capable of explaining complicated concepts simply and successfully to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Execution and Discipline: You consistently deliver on commitments on time and to an exceptional standardYou can "ship things that aren't 100%," knowing you'll be able to improve them later

  • Collaboration and Feedback: You model collaborative behavior, and your peers seek you out as a trusted source of great feedback

  • Problem Solving: You make recommendations and drive change at the team level by identifying and resolving clearly defined problems with minimal guidance. You identify obstacles and often remove them with help from peers

Successful applicants will be required to undertake at least a Basic check via the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS).

For roles that will involve a Regulated Activity, successful applicants must also undergo an Enhanced DBS check, including a Children’s Barred List check and a Prohibition Order check. Roles involving Regulated Activity may interact with vulnerable groups, therefore are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 meaning applicants are required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands, and final warnings.

Providing false information is an offence and could result in the application being rejected or summary dismissal if the applicant has been selected, and possible referral to the police and the DBS.
