This teaching-focused role centres on delivering innovative and engaging content in Pharmacotherapeutics and related clinical areas. Reporting to the Head of School, you will also contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and deliver current, clinically relevant course material for lectures, workshops, and assessments in Pharmacotherapeutics.
Foster outstanding student experiences through high-quality, student-centred learning and teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Contribute to curriculum enhancement and educational innovation, including the use of technology-enhanced learning.
Engage in scholarship of learning and teaching, with a focus on improving student outcomes and employability.
Develop partnerships with industry and the broader community to support work-integrated learning and enhance program relevance.

This is a continuing, full time position and can be primarily based at any of our Griffith campuses Gold Coast. As a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time base salary for a Lecturer level B will range $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum.
Qualifications
What matters most is your commitment to student learning and professional standards in pharmacy education. You’ll bring energy, insight, and a focus on impact.
To be successful, you will have:
A degree in Pharmacy and at least 3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy environment.
Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA or a registrable qualification.
Demonstrated teaching experience in Pharmacotherapeutics at a tertiary level is highly desirable.
Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning and assessment approaches.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support student learning.
