Salary: $115,000 to $120,000 a year
Job Summary
We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality virtual care to clients across New York. This position involves managing a consistent therapy caseload, guiding clients through treatment goals, and maintaining strong clinical records in a telehealth environment. The work is centered on practical support, sound clinical judgment, and helping clients move forward with measurable progress.
Responsibilities
- Deliver telehealth counseling and psychotherapy services
- Perform initial assessments and gather relevant clinical history
- Develop treatment plans based on presenting concerns and goals
- Maintain complete, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Evaluate client progress throughout the course of treatment
- Refer clients to additional services or resources when appropriate
- Uphold ethical care standards and confidentiality requirements
Requirements
- Active New York license as LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health or counseling-related field
- Experience in therapy, counseling, or outpatient mental health care preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build rapport and maintain clinical effectiveness in a virtual setting
- Proficiency with telehealth tools and EHR systems preferred
