Position Summary
The Lineman should possess experience with maintenance and construction of high voltage electrical systems.
Essential Functions
- Perform maintenance and construction activities on high voltage electrical systems.
- Minimum of four years' of experience required.
- Operate bucket trucks 100+ feet for aerial work on power lines.
- Conduct tree trimming near power lines to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize ohmmeters and voltmeters to test electrical components.
- Work on construction sites and IT infrastructure projects as needed.

Requirements
Required:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working with high voltage systems is essential.
- Proficiency in bucket truck operations and climbing utility poles.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.
- Ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions.
- Knowledge of using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other relevant tools.
- Experience in tree trimming near power lines is a plus.
- CDL Class A no restrictions.
- Required to work in substation when no line work is occuring.
Preferred:
- Blueprint/electrical schematic reading and interpretation skilled.
- Electrical/electronic trades training/basic electrical knowledge
- No electrical license required.
- High school diploma/GED; additional preference given for Vocational, Technical and Community Colleges or Apprentice programs.
