Litigation Associate - For CarterWill Search

CarterWill Search is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a Florida-based civil litigation practice in Orlando. This is an excellent opportunity to work on general civil litigation defense, including general liability, premises liability, product liability, and insurance matters, within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience managing complex civil litigation matters from inception through trial. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, representing clients in depositions and court appearances, and collaborating with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies.

This role offers exposure to a diverse caseload, mentorship opportunities, and the chance to develop a strong litigation skill set in a supportive, collegial environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in general liability

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials and legal research/writing skills

• Ability to manage cases from inception to trial

• Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and teamwork

• Active Florida Bar admission
