Litigation Attorney (Insurance Defense)

Our Miami office seeks a talented Associate with 5+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience, preferred. Background in premise liability, construction, and other complex litigation is a plus.

Requirements

• Previous experience in civil and commercial litigation is preferred
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
• An intrinsic client-first approach, ensuring impeccable service
• Previous experience in insurance defense is an asset, though not mandatory.
• A hunger for growth, a customer-first mindset, and impeccable organizational skills
• Member of Florida Bar in good standing, required

Your Day-to-Day:

• Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
• Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.
• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
