The Operations Team is responsible for coordinating freight jobs, building strong relationships with shippers and carriers, and ensuring smooth logistics operations across Australia.

  • Drive award rates by ensuring freight jobs get matched and awarded efficiently
  • Generate revenue by actively coordinating jobs to achieve GMV growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong clientele relationships with shippers to turn them into repeat platform users
  • Expand and cultivate a reliable carrier network directory through effective matching and relationship management
  • Monitor newly posted freight jobs to ensure they receive timely and appropriate attention
  • Communicate with shippers to confirm job details, answer inquiries, and support job awarding
  • Coordinate daily transport movements and proactively reschedule shipments when disruptions occur
  • Assist carriers in quoting on jobs that need additional support and guide shippers in selecting the best available offers
  • Engage with carriers to match them with suitable jobs based on pricing, availability, and past performance
  • Identify and resolve delivery issues or potential errors, escalating to relevant teams when necessary
  • Deliver a smooth and professional experience that encourages repeat use from both shippers and carriers
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and contribute to key performance indicators such as job awards and coordination compliance
  • Effectively communicate complex information to a variety of users
  • Incorporate changes in work practices in response to changes requested by management

  • Adhere to Freelancer policies and procedures
