Your mission
The ML Engineer role at Peak helps ensure our applications operate at the cutting edge
of AI and can solve our customers’ most challenging problems.
What you'll do at UiPath
You will work as part of a team to design, build, maintain, and implement our AI
applications and AI tooling. You'll see your outputs deployed and used in our
applications, to support our diverse customer base. Your feedback will help shape the
future of the Peak platform. There's also huge potential to tailor your role to your
preferred career path as the team grows, especially within our key domains of inventory
and pricing.
You'll bring strong enthusiasm for all things machine learning and data related, as well
as keen interest in long-term advancement of your data and machine learning
knowledge, software skills and product development practices. Your work will require
you to be equally comfortable in actively collaborating with other ML Engineers, Product
Managers and other stakeholders, as well as in carrying out independent technical
research tasks. You'll also bring empathy for the users of your tools and solutions, and
be able to communicate directly with customers during the delivery/implementation
phase of a project. You'll be excited by the prospect of building amazing
machine-learning powered software products for our customers to love and depend on.
What you'll bring to the team
Experience in one or more areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence,
statistics, optimisation, operations research, Generative AI, or other highly
numerate domains.Developed scientific software as part of a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with
engineering best practices, including CI/CD, unit and integration testing, peer
code reviews, and modular code designPrevious experience with Python
Exposure to any of the major cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure or
GCP.Worked with common database technologies, including good SQL knowledge
and/or experience working other NoSQL or big data technologies.Experience designing and/or building customer-centric software products.

Depending on the needs of the business and the role, the number of hybrid, office-based, and remote workers will vary from team to team.
