As part of team expansion, our client, an international player in the maritime and offshore sector, is seeking a professional covering maintenance and asset management operations, including coordination, planning, and project oversight, supporting the technical organization and teams both onshore and onboard.
The role supports the successful planning and execution of maintenance and asset management activities, contributing to fleet performance and availability, in close collaboration with the Technical Director.
Main Responsibilities :
- Structure and optimize the existing maintenance organization, supporting planning, procedures, and process improvement
- Plan, monitor, and support the prioritization of maintenance and refit operations across the fleet
- Optimize maintenance cycles, monitor associated budgets, and ensure projects progress according to plan and quality standards
- Implement and continuously improve procedures related to maintenance & asset management in a maritime and oil & gas environment
- Support the planning and execution of maintenance and refit activities, working closely with onshore teams and chief engineers onboard (around 40 people) to ensure operational follow-up
- Collaborate with technical teams to anticipate and address operational issues both onshore and onboard, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Develop and improve reporting and tracking tools (Excel, Power BI, PMS/IFS) to support planning and project tracking
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum +5 years of experience in a technical environment, ideally maritime or offshore
- Experience in shipyard operations or maritime refit projects is a plus
- Strong organizational, planning, and team coordination skills, focused on operations management and process optimization
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and maintenance management software such as PMS or IFS
- Fluent in both French and English

This is a local permanent position, 40 hours per week, with travel anticipated approximately two weeks per quarter for the purpose of visiting vessels.
