What you will do

  • Promote key products of the company by detailing the features, advantages, benefits & unique selling points of company’s products
  • Deliver sales targets and distribution objectives for assigned portfolio/channel
  • Work closely with hospital stakeholders to list products into hospitals
  • Report on sales and business performance for aligned portfolio/channel which includes providing updates on competitor activity
  • Execute clear and effective call reports, and meet business KPIs as will be defined from time to time
  • Actively build and maintain current and potential customer relationships
  • Act as the first point of contact for aligned customers
  • Provide feedback to managers regarding customers, markets and product performance/issues
  • Actively participate in all business meetings and operating mechanisms
  • Achieve and maintain good merchandising standards in assigned retail outlets
  • Ensure compliance with approved pharmaceutical practices and maintaining company’s standards of performance
  • Additional role as and when required and not limitation to the above.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role

  • A minimum of a Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.

  • At least 2 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors

  • Good communication and presentation skill and the ability to listen to others

  • Highly-motivated with effective prioritization and organizational skills

  • Independent and resourceful team player with strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the Medical Sales Representative will drive revenue growth and market share for the Ophthalmology portfolio by fostering high-level professional relationships and maintaining rigorous sales disciplines. The role focuses on expanding business footprints through new account acquisitions and hospital product listings, while actively supporting franchise launches and marketing initiatives. By leveraging cross-functional resources, you will ensure superior customer satisfaction and consistently meet sales targets within the assigned territory.
