Description of the job position

  • Main focus will be the promotion of cargo-partner freight-forwarding services in North Macedonia, air, sea and road transports,  customs clearance, logistic services, resulting in conclusion of specifics businesses and prospective customers. Expansion of sales activities to Albania and Kosovo will be focus as well.
  • The purpose of the Sales role is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new and existing clients. This position is pivotal in identifying and securing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with the existing customer base.
  • Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential customers in assigned territories, focusing on A, B, C segment customers, and ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Carry out sales calls and visits in accordance with KPIs, reporting all activities in the Salesforce timely.
  • Achieve monthly targets and execute the sales process as trained, including pipeline management and maintenance of the different systems as guided by corporate guidelines.
  • Generate business for all product segments and developing relationships with complex customers for business growth.
  • Develop relationships with customers, generating new business, and forming a customer base by establishing communication with prospective clients.
  • Meet monthly goals set by management and maintain consistent communication with Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices.
  • Drive new business development through selling the company's product portfolio, building strong relationships with existing customers, and working jointly with the Product and Sales teams.
  • Support country/sub country development by providing regular input to the Manager of Sales on product and customer development.
  • Communicate in a professional manner, acting in the company's best interest and adhering to all internal and legal regulations, including codes of conduct and data secrecy agreements.
  • Maintain a professional work culture, adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure confidentiality and security of company information.
  • Regularly update customer visits and tasks in the system and submit periodic marketing and sales planning reports to senior authority.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the employer, in line with the individual's qualifications and company operational needs.
  • Requirements and skills

  • Preferred experience at least 5 years in logistics/freight sales
  • Strong customer service, excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, positive, result-oriented, customer-focused attitude.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and proficiency in Salesforce is a plus or any other CRM.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Proficient in English with strong presentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required by the role
  • Valid driving license.
