By joining our Technology Strategy & Advisory team within the Business Transformation practice, you will serve as a strategic advisor to Technology and Finance leaders, helping align enterprise technology decisions with business strategy, finance performance, and operating model objectives.
You will leverage prior enterprise application experience — including exposure to NetSuite environments — to evaluate complex technology landscapes and guide clients toward scalable, future-ready solutions.
This role is advisory-first. It is not focused on system configuration. Instead, you will help executive stakeholders determine whether challenges require process redesign, operating model change, system optimization, architectural evolution, or alternative technology solutions, and translate strategic direction into pragmatic, executable roadmaps.
What You'll Do:
- Cultivate relationships and serve as a subject matter expert, aiding organizations and their stakeholders in recognizing and implementing strategies to harness modern technology
- Lead structured discovery sessions and executive workshops to assess current-state technology, process, and operating model maturity.
- Apply prior NetSuite implementation experience to assess ERP fit, architectural constraints, and ecosystem implications within broader enterprise environments.
- Evaluate optimize vs. replace vs. augment decisions across ERP, EPM, and adjacent enterprise platforms
- Conduct vendor evaluations and capability assessments grounded in business outcomes rather than product bias.
- Develop future-state visioning materials, executive business cases, and phased transformation roadmaps
- Support the development of implementation strategies and lead execution of key phases, identifying and resolving issues, risks, and escalating project issues to leadership when necessary
- Oversee project administration activities, encompassing project setup, planning, budgeting, account management, and billing, ensuring smooth project completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive solution roadmaps that address client requirements
- Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multi-faceted issues
- Cultivate new client relationships and deepen existing ones
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in technology advisory, enterprise applications consulting, or finance transformation within a professional services environment
- Participation in 2–4 full-cycle NetSuite implementations (functional lead or core team member), providing practical understanding of ERP constraints and opportunities
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes (close, reporting, revenue, inventory, consolidations, manufacturing accounting
- Experience engaging Technology and Finance leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders in structured assessment and strategy engagements.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose root causes before prescribing solutions
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and shaping direction without a predefined answer
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and assisting project teams in resolving multifaceted issues
- A strong track record of effectively communicating intricate concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
- Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI and automation, in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical disciplines.
• Willingness to travel based on client preferences
