About the Role
We’re seeking a Marketing Product Manager to lead Lifecycle Marketing and Marketing Operations with a strong, hands-on focus on data acquisition, Excel-based data management, and CRM readiness.
This role sits at the intersection of campaign execution and data operations. You will be directly responsible for cleaning, validating, and preparing datasets used for CRM imports, exports, segmentation, and campaign activation.
The ideal candidate is highly comfortable working in Excel with large files, understanding of CRM data structures, and can manage projects end-to-end without letting bad data sneak into production (because once it’s in the CRM, it lives there forever).
Key Responsibilities
Team & Vendor Management
- Manage vendors and supervise a small team of agents, including data entry and data operations support.
- Define data standards, QA checklists, and documentation for internal and third-party data workflows.
- Coordinate with third-party data vendors on file delivery specs, field definitions, validation rules, and feedback loops.
Campaign & Project Coordination
- Partner with Creative, Marketing, and Content teams to execute email, SMS, direct mail, and landing page campaigns.
- Translate campaign requirements into clear data needs (fields, formats, suppression logic, segmentation criteria).
- Manage timelines across creative development, data preparation, CRM imports, and campaign deployment.
Data Management & Excel-Heavy Work (Core Function)
- Acquire, clean, and prepare large datasets for CRM and marketing automation imports and exports.
- Perform advanced Excel-based data manipulation, including:
- VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH for data reconciliation
- Pivot tables for validation, analysis, and reporting
- Deduplication logic using formulas and conditional formatting
- Data normalization (name, address, phone, email formatting)
- QA checks to identify missing, invalid, or mismatched fields
- Manage CRM data uploads, exports, field mapping, and post-import validation.
- Enforce data governance standards to maintain accuracy, usability, and compliance.
Reporting & Optimization
- Build and maintain recurring reports using CRM data and Excel to track lifecycle performance and data quality.
- Identify data issues, process gaps, and automation opportunities; recommend improvements.
- Support lifecycle optimization through data-backed insights that improve engagement, conversion, and customer value.
Requirements
Qualifications (Required)
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, demand generation, or data-centric marketing roles.
- Proven project management or team leadership experience.
- Advanced Excel skills required, including hands-on experience with:
- Large datasets (10k+ rows)
- Lookup formulas, pivot tables, and data validation
- Preparing files for system imports and exports
- Direct experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot or similar), including data imports, exports, and QA.
- Experience supporting lifecycle or outbound marketing campaigns (email, SMS, direct mail).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written); native-level proficiency.
