About the Role 

We are seeking a driven, execution-focused Marketing Manager to support and scale our digital presence across SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and social media. This role is designed for someone who can own execution, build upon existing strategies, and gradually take more ownership as they grow into the role. 

You will work closely with our Marketing Director, who has the overarching strategy in place and is willing to train and mentor the right candidate. While technical SEO is supported by external partners, this role will lead and execute on-page SEO, content optimization, AEO initiatives, and social media management, with the autonomy to recommend improvements. 

A strong self-starter mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn are critical for success. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

SEO & AEO Execution 

  • Execute and optimize on-page SEO and content optimization initiatives 
  • Build upon existing keyword strategies and content clusters 
  • Support and collaborate with outsourced technical SEO partners 
  • Optimize content for AEO, including: 
  • Google Featured Snippets 
  • AI-driven search experiences 
  • Voice search and conversational search 
  • ChatGPT-style and AI answer results 
  • Use SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Moz to monitor performance and identify opportunities 
  • Assist in updating and optimizing existing content to improve rankings, engagement, and conversions 

 

Content & Optimization 

  • Create and optimize new content where needed 
  • Repurpose existing content across multiple channels 
  • Ensure content aligns with SEO and AEO best practices 
  • Coordinate closely with the Marketing Director on content priorities and messaging 

 

Social Media Management 

  • Execute social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube 
  • Manage content creation, scheduling, and posting (currently using Feedbird, with openness to improvement) 
  • Improve content quality and consistency across platforms 
  • Monitor engagement and performance, and suggest optimizations 
  • Bring strategic input while primarily owning execution 

 

Collaboration & Growth 

  • Work closely with the Marketing Director and internal stakeholders 
  • Be receptive to feedback and training while progressively taking ownership 
  • Contribute ideas and insights to improve performance across channels 
  • Operate with a proactive, self-starter mindset 

 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, content, or social media 
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO and content optimization 
  • Working knowledge of AEO concepts and AI-driven search trends 
  • Experience using Google Search Console, SEMrush, and/or Moz 
  • Hands-on experience managing social media platforms 
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail 
  • Comfortable executing independently while collaborating with leadership 
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and growth-oriented 

Requirements

This is a full time role

Up to $8/hr
