Bounteous is looking for a B2B marketing automation Platform Architect to lead high-priority marketing automation implementation projects and ongoing platform support. This position sits within our Technology team, but will regularly interface with a large, cross-functional team of developers, solution architects, marketing strategists and digital marketing specialists to help bring digital customer experiences to life. As such, the ideal candidate will be dynamic and flexible with a strong affinity toward data and process.
This position necessitates knowledge of varying industry trends, marketing automation enablement, demand generation, lead management, B2B campaign best practices and associated B2B marketing technologies, so the ideal candidate should possess a desire to continually learn, improve and apply subject matter expertise to individual client needs.

Information Security Responsibilities
Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocolsIdentify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assetsUnderstand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Responsibilities:
Lead discovery efforts to gather necessary information from clients and internal team members to appropriately understand business needs and solution requirements for lead management and B2B digital marketing effortsDevelop deep knowledge of each client's business and available data to ensure platform solutioning is on par with client's marketing and sales objectivesTranslate business needs into detailed technical requirements for platform configuration, data schemas and system integrations to deliver against business needsLead platform configuration and development of digital marketing campaigns across all channels supported in B2B Marketing Automation platforms (email, SMS, push notification, social, web, events, etc)Oversee development, testing and deployment of platform work completed by developersProvide support to development teams working on platform integrationsCreate Architecture and Technical specifications documents Serve as day-to-day technical platform SME to internal and client teamsWork closely with project management team to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple, simultaneous platform-related projects and change controlsProvide support to senior team members throughout project estimation and Marketing Automation discovery / roadmapping engagements, as neededProvide support to internal Campaign Operations team for ongoing platform and schema optimizations, as neededDirect technical implementation of features, as needed, as a minor percentage of overall responsibility
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related business or technology field, or equivalent work experience required5 to 10 years experience in a Software Development role working with data-driven applicationsMinimum of 2 years working with Marketo and CRM systems as a Platform Architect, with demonstrated experience leading 3+ platform implementation projectsExperience serving as a Marketo Subject Matter Expert, with knowledge of various platform modules and capabilitiesFamiliarity with commonly-requested Marketo integrations and associated B2B technologies (CRM, Webinar, Sales Enablement systems)Marketo and CRM certifications preferredExperienced data modeler in relational database systemsExperience writing SQL queries for Select/Insert/Update/Delete, including knowledge of multi-table joins and outer joinsProficiency with Apache Velocity, Munchkin, REST/SOAP API Experience or familiarity with HTML, MJML, CSS and responsive email coding a plusAgency experience preferred, with 2+ years experience in a client-facing role and knowledge of overall agency structures and agile project management methodologiesSolid understanding of B2B campaign management, lead / account management, audience segmentation methods, industry best practices, communication legal compliance, and downstream marketing automation analysisExcellent oral and written communication skillsComfortable working with all levels of an organization and capable of communicating as effectively with technical staff as with business and management Familiarity with a variety of marketing automation platforms and marketing cloud solutions a plus (Pardot, Eloqua, ClickDimensions, Act-On, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar)
