Mental Health Group Facilitator

Avery's House is a mental health treatment provider for adolescents. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and passionate Group Facilitator for our Boise location. Experience working with adolescents is preferred, and any additional experience with mental health and substance abuse is beneficial.

Job Duties:
● Facilitate Groups and assist in developing group curriculum

● Provides direct support services to include engaging clients in Group Therapy, topics related to health and wellness promotion, and crisis management. 

● Participate in documentation in electronic health record

● Maintain client confidentiality HIPAA compliance

● Manage crisis situations using Voluntary Time-Out and verbal de-escalation interventions

● Communication with team members the status of clients in verbal and written form

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of behavioral health experience OR; 
• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience in the behavioral health field 
• Enhanced Clearance with Idaho Health and Welfare
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred- will be required to obtain)
• Current TB test (will be required to obtain)

Recommended Qualifications:

• Experience facilitating groups.
• Experience working with adolescents in a behavioral health environment.
• Experience with documentation. 
• Must be able to speak English, hear, use a telephone, and operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copier, and fax machine.
