Role Overview

As a Merchant Relationship Manager, you will be the bridge linking merchants, EPOS, and our partnering digital bank. Your mission is to ensure smooth onboarding for business bank accounts, resolve merchant queries, and support a seamless customer journey.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping business owners, solving issues with finesse, and working across tech-bank teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Guide merchants through bank account opening
  • Assist with document collection and verification
  • Track applications, follow up on delays, and escalate when needed
  • Liaise with Bank teams while respecting security protocols
  • Support payment devices activation workflows
  • Handle merchant queries with warmth and clarity
  • Maintain a smooth merchant journey by preventing banking-related onboarding delays from extending into EPOS satisfaction.
  • Document and optimise processes as we scale, support future initiatives (e.g. SME loans, sales operations) and adhoc tasks 

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (To assist Chinese Speaking Merchants)
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Customer-first mindset and problem-solving instinct
  • Comfortable with admin, verification and cross-team coordination
  • Able to keep things moving even with security protocols and process gates
  • Organised, patient, and proactive
  • Bonus: Prior customer service, banking or Relationship Management experience. Fresh grads are welcome to apply (Junior level).
