Microsoft Integration Developer

As an Integration Developer at NCS Australia, you will be the driving force behind the practical realisation of our client’s digital evolution. Working in an agile, parallel-delivery environment, you will translate high-level architectural designs into high-performance API components and integration flows. This role is a unique opportunity to challenge us by building the "connective tissue" between Dynamics 365 (F&O, Sales, and Marketing), Treasury systems, and external banking partners. You will begin building key integration components and APIs using the patterns, architecture, and Azure APIM capability established by the Integration Architect, ensuring that the vision for a modernised, real-time ecosystem becomes a functional reality.

Your focus will be on precision, reusability, and the seamless movement of data. You will develop initial API services and orchestration workflows using Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid, while applying architect-defined standards for naming, versioning, and policy usage. Beyond the initial build, you will be responsible for the operational integrity of your code—implementing observability hooks for telemetry and logging, and building automated functional and contract tests directly into the CI/CD pipelines.

You will ensure that the solutions you build today are sustainable for the long term. This involves documenting API specifications, schemas, and error models, and contributing to a central integration repository and pattern catalogue. Your role is as much about collaboration as it is about configuration; you will provide walkthroughs and handover sessions to internal teams to ensure they are equipped to manage the high-speed, straight-through processing (STP) data pathways you have helped create.

Qualifications

You are a technical specialist who takes pride in building elegant, resilient integrations and thrives when working under clear architectural direction. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Deep Azure Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with the Azure Integration Suite, specifically APIM, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.

• Integration Craftsmanship: Proven API development and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to implement reusable connectors, mapping logic, and complex orchestration workflows.

• DevOps & Reliability Mindset: Experience with CI/CD integration, automated API testing (functional, contract, and regression), and performance tuning using observability tools like Azure Monitor.

• Quality Focused: A track record of producing high-quality deliverables that align strictly with architectural standards and security best practices.

• Clear Communicator: The ability to document technical specifications clearly and support internal teams through UAT, technical verification, and production release processes.

• Relevant Experience: Practical understanding of service management integration and the ability to work effectively within a modernised digital ecosystem.

• An expert in relevant programing and scripting languages.
