Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC design experience. This is a mid-level role where you will contribute to the design and delivery of complex building projects, collaborate with project teams, and ensure compliance with performance and sustainability standards. The engineer will play an active role in advancing energy-efficient solutions while growing into greater leadership responsibility.

In this role, you will

• Support HVAC design on high-rise and complex projects
• Contribute to system layouts, load calculations, and efficiency analyses
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to deliver solutions
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions
• Ensure compliance with codes, energy, and sustainability requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC design experience (high-rise and VRF systems preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Carrier HAP/Trane Trace, and Energy Gauge
• EIT preferred; PE track encouraged
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
