About the Role

As a Mid Software Engineer (.NET / C#), you will be part of a collaborative engineering team responsible for building reliable, scalable, and high-performing backend systems. You will design and implement services, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure best practices in clean code, testing, and DevOps. Working in a cloud-based environment, you’ll play a key role in maintaining quality and performance across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services using .NET / C#, PostgreSQL, and Redis (or similar).

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration layers.

  • Collaborate with Product and QA to define scope, estimate effort, and deliver roadmap items.

  • Participate in code and design reviews, ensuring alignment with best practices.

  • Monitor system and infrastructure health, respond to alerts, and resolve issues proactively.

  • Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and champion code quality.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement, bringing ideas to improve scalability and performance.

  • Support team onboarding and mentorship of new joiners.

  • Ensure security, maintainability, and future scalability of technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in backend development with .NET / C#.

  • Experience with cloud environments (preferably GCP).

  • Solid understanding of software architecture and clean code principles.

  • Experience with containerization and messaging systems (Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, or similar).

  • Knowledge of integration testing and contract testing.

  • Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proactive mindset with attention to quality, scalability, and reliability.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with GCP or other major cloud platforms.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and monitoring tools.

  • Interest in mentoring and contributing to team growth.
