Tieto Tech Consulting is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Middle/Senior QA Automation Engineer, a professional who will join a project within a Telecom Team for our respectful client BICS.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a QA Automation Engineer

• You will develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend scenarios following Test Pyramid

• Conduct testing activities from collecting test requirements, test design, setting up test environment to regression testing and release (End-to-End testing)
• Validate functional and technical design documents, provide testing estimates
• Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum) and communicate effectively with international teams
• Stay updated on best practices in automated testing and agile methodologies

Who we are looking for

• You have strong knowledge of Java core
• You have proficiency in SQL
• Experience in test automation for API/backend scenarios
• Experience with GIT, CI (Jenkins), Maven or equivalent
• Experience with UNIX
• Good knowledge of testing theory
• Understanding and experience working according to agile principles (Scrum)
• Knows benefits of automated testing and when it is applicable
• Practical experience with low level tests automation according to testing pyramid

As a person, we believe you

• Pro-active communication in case of questions, issues, improvement proposals etc.
• Ability to abstract complex solutions, validate functional analysis and technical design document, provide estimates
• Strong Time management skills and eager to easily switch context/be flexible

A significant advantage would be

• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with Playwright
• Familiar with Jira, Zephyr for Jira
• Experience with AI for QA
