Position Title: Network Support Engineer
Department: IT Management - Production Network & Operations
Work Location: Toronto office
Responsibilities:

Network Planning and Implementation for Europe and America Projects:
Deeply engage in network architecture design at client sites in Europe and America. Develop highly available and scalable network solutions tailored to client business scenarios, including topology planning, IP address allocation, and routing policy design. -
Lead Equipment Selection Throughout Project Lifecycle:
- Oversee network implementation and configuration at client sites in Europe and America. This includes equipment debugging and joint testing to ensure network deployment meets project timelines and passes client acceptance post-launch.
- Support the network troubleshooting and network architecture optimization/transformation for existing client projects.
- Network optimization for the U.S. and Canada regions, and participation in the global regional network collaborative management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields. Preferably certified in CCIE, HCIP, H3CTE, or equivalent networking certifications.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on network engineering experience.

Technical Competencies:
- Expertise in TCP/IP protocol stack (including IPv4/IPv6), routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching technologies (VLAN, STP, link aggregation), and network security technologies (firewall policies, intrusion detection/prevention, VPN encryption).
- Proficient in configuring and managing mainstream network equipment from vendors including Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Fortinet, etc. Capable of independently performing firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and restores.

Possess network troubleshooting skills. Able to rapidly identify issues such as link failures, packet loss, and DNS resolution anomalies using tools like Wireshark, and develop targeted solutions

Language and Collaboration Skills:
- English as primary working language with fluent speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities. Capable of independent technical communication with European/American clients and overseas teams (e.g., remote meetings, solution discussions) and drafting technical documentation (e.g., network design proposals, incident reports).
- Fluent Chinese communication skills enabling efficient coordination with domestic headquarters teams to synchronize project progress and technical requirements.
- Comprehensive Qualities:
- Strong sense of responsibility and big-picture awareness, strictly adhering to network compliance requirements in Europe and America to ensure project implementation aligns with local regulations.
- Excellent teamwork spirit, capable of collaborating with cross-time zone teams (e.g., North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific) and adapting to flexible working hours.
- High stress tolerance, able to prioritize tasks effectively in multi-project environments and drive efficient issue resolution.
- Innovative mindset to optimize existing network architecture using new technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, network automation) and enhance management efficiency and system resilience.
