Network / Systems Engineer (TS SCI)

Aperio Global is seeking a Network / Systems Engineer in Fort Bragg NC with an active TS SCI clearance.    This program provides network analysis and systems engineering of a global DoD network supported by Army INSCOM. We provide Network Engineering, Cloud Migration, and 24x7 network administration and support services. 

Provide Tier II customer service support to a DoD customer. Responsible for providing software support to CISCO routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun Servers, Juniper routers, In-Line Encryption (INE) devices, network security appliances and other related network hardware.
Work Environment
•    Work will be performed inside a large facility. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting).
•    Work assignments vary based on client requirements.
•    Work may include travel with the military to participate in exercises in austere conditions
•    Outside work may include various environmental conditions including hot, dusty, cold, icy and windy climates.
Attendance
•    This job involves shift work.  Those shifts will vary over time.  Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is mandatory. 
•    You may be asked to continue performing in support of a war, contingency, or exercise.
•    You may be asked to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work
•    Position may require night and weekend work and could include travel with the military to participate in operations/exercises located in areas with field conditions
Travel
•    Continental and Oversees travel may be required.  It is important to maintain a current passport.
Other Essential Functions
•    Maintain required certifications through the duration of the contract.

5 years of experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks.
Physical Requirements: Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone. May require operating motor vehicles.
Certification Requirements:
IAT-2: GSEC, or Security + CE, or SSCP, or CCNA- Security
CCNA, or CCENT

Salary Range: 70k-90k
