As a Coach / Sales Manager, your mission is to ensure the store’s success by creating an environment that delivers a premium consumer and employee experience while implementing programs that drive business results. You are a natural leader who supports the Head Coach in daily store operations and inspires the team to achieve excellence in sales, service, and operational performance.
Your Responsibilities as Sales Manager
- Perform all store management functions in the absence of the Head Coach.
- Monitor daily operational procedures and ensure smooth and efficient sales floor performance.
- Model and enforce efficiencies and best practices across all store areas.
- Support the team in achieving key metrics, including Sales, Conversion, UPT, ADT, Payroll, Secret Shop, Turnover, and Staffing.
- Ensure compliance with Loss Prevention, Health & Safety, and company policies; hold team members accountable.
- Communicate and execute action plans for upcoming projects, company initiatives, promotions, and events.
- Deliver high-level customer service by maintaining full product knowledge and coaching the team accordingly.
- Provide consistent coaching on sales, product knowledge, and service to drive top performance.
- Hold Athletes accountable for individual and team goals, promoting a customer-first, sales-driven culture.
- Conduct coaching sessions with Leads and Athletes to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Maintain floor stock and merchandising to company standards.
- Role model compliance with all Health & Safety, Harassment, and Loss Prevention policies.
- Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Support ongoing training initiatives and follow up as required.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including pre-screening and interviewing Associates.
- Review and update the Break Room Communication Board.
- Open and close the store following established procedures.
- Undertake all other duties necessary to ensure smooth, efficient store operations and high standards across all areas.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience.
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members to higher levels of success and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
