Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist Dept., 4 Day Week, Day Shift - Merrimack Valley
We are recruiting an Experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Inpatient Services Dept. on the Hospitalist Team in the Merrimack Valley
Take advantage of a 4 day workweek. Work Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, Four 10 hour shifts
The Nurse Practitioners role is primarily in admitting new patients with the supervision of the attending physician. At times discharging patients or rounding on patients with the attending physician is also done.
Duties also include Care of the hospitalized adults: Including medical, surgical and telemetry patients
Practitioner shall elicit a comprehensive health history, physical exam and assessment of the patient. Perform the appropriate documentation in the medical record (History and Physical, Progress Note, Discharge Summary) and present information on the patient to the attending supervising physician
