Responsibilities:
Monetization Implementation & Tracking Operations
- Set up, validate, and QA affiliate tracking links, sub-ID structures, and monetization placements.
- Partner with Business Development and Revenue Operations teams to ensure accurate tracking configuration.
- Submit and manage tickets for the tracking team to implement via google tag manager and pixel tracking.
- Identify and troubleshoot tracking discrepancies or front-end issues, escalating complex technical blockers as needed.
On-Site Execution & CMS Ownership
- Implement monetization units and placements directly within WordPress (or other CMS instances), including interactive modules and native integrations.
- Ensure placements align with approved commercial priorities while maintaining a user-first perspective.
- Support Sales and Business Development teams by creating mock-ups and proposed partner integrations for high-value opportunities.
Audit, Quality Control & Optimization Support
- Conduct recurring site audits to identify broken placements, tracking gaps, or underperforming integrations.
- Surface opportunities to improve monetization performance based on placement strategy, partner prioritization, and user behavior considerations.
- Maintain documentation related to tracking logic, implementation standards, and QA processes.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in quality control and turnaround time across monetization workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Respond to and prioritize requests from SEM, SEO, and Commercial stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Translate business priorities into clear execution plans, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
- Partner with internal teams to align on revenue impact and performance considerations.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of experience in monetization operations, affiliate marketing, or related digital revenue environments.
- Proficiency in WordPress or similar CMS platforms, with hands-on implementation experience.
- Working knowledge of affiliate tracking structures, sub-IDs, and tagging systems.
- Ability to inspect and troubleshoot front-end elements (HTML inspection, understanding of shortcodes).
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager environments and QA tools (e.g., OmniBug) is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to identify and resolve implementation gaps.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including SEM, SEO, Data Engineering.
