We're now recruiting an Operational Resilience Analyst to join the Operational Resilience team; our first‑line oversight function that partners with colleagues at all levels of the business to strengthen and embed operational resilience. The team ensures that critical processes and their dependencies are clearly mapped, regularly tested, and effectively reported to support informed decision‑making.
As an Operational Resilience Analyst, you will work within a small, collaborative team, reporting to the Operational Resilience Manager and supporting the Head of Operational Resilience. You will deliver a varied and engaging programme of work, contributing to the ongoing development and maturity of the organisation’s operational resilience framework, as set out in the Operational Resilience Plan.
As an Operational Resilience Analyst, you will also play a role in ensuring the firm meets its obligations under the FCA’s Consumer Duty. Your work will support the firm’s commitment to delivering good outcomes for customers.
What you'll have
We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Analyst with demonstrable, hands‑on operational resilience expertise. This role is designed for someone who is already operating as a subject matter expert and is motivated by the opportunity to influence others and shape the direction of an established operational resilience function.
You will bring a strong understanding of what good looks like in practice, gained through real delivery experience. You will use this expertise to help embed a more mature and confident approach to operational resilience at AJ Bell.
You will work in close partnership with the Operational Resilience Manager and Head of Operational Resilience, while also being capable of operating independently, exercising sound judgement, and leading workstreams with minimal oversight.
What does the job involve?
The Operational Resilience Analyst is responsible for delivering the Operational Resilience objectives set out in the Operational Resilience Methodology, including:
