Operations Accountant with English Finance NER

This is a two‑year fixed‑term position

The Accountant will be able to perform numerous activities, including but not restricted to :

‣              Intercompany activities : reconciliation, invoices

‣              Perform AP payments and Bookings

‣              Perform Master Data Management activities for accounting systems

‣              Perform Tax and regulatory reporting

‣              Post accounting vouchers/ bank statements

‣              Perform broker invoicing

‣              Support Fixed Asset Accounting

‣              Perform reconciliations between sub- and main-ledger

‣              Various reconciliations for booking accounts

‣              Accounts Receivables booking for intercompany entities

Ad hoc activities (specific to the SSC structure launch):

• Participates in the creation / update of Finance Standard Operating Procedures used by the SSC operational teams.
• Is accountable for operations’ accuracy and quality regarding statutory and Group rules and standards
• Participates in project work (e.g. lean & optimization topics)
• Participates to functional & cross-functional meetings (when required)  and shares feedback and regular contact with NER functional finance team
• Potential evolution to other opportunities within the company

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of accounting  processes
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Independent worker and team player
• Ability to deal with numerous deadlines simultaneously / Multi-tasking
• Familiarity and ease with varying IT and online software and applications
• Knowledge of local GAAP is a plus (Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden)
• Basic knowledge of major internal control procedures
