Ops Risk Reporting and Data Analytics

Duties of the role:

• Monitor Key Risk & Performance Indicators through daily break & exception reports

• Work with the respective managers of the impacted areas to address potential risk

• Identify areas for improvement and work with individual groups to implement solutions

• Identify new ways to detect and manage risk (i.e. new metrics & reports, process surveillance mechanisms, etc.)

• Potential to contribute to, or lead, various projects that may arise out of the aforementioned activities

• Will support all product types (but not required to have grasp of all)

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess the following skills, education and experience:

• 2-5 years of Operations or Middle Office experience

• Knowledge of Core Ops (Asset Servicing, Settlements, Reconciliations, etc.) needed

• Strong knowledge of Product Control, Pricing, P&L and Trade Support very helpful

• Data mining/analytics/ reporting background highly preferred 

• Thorough, with strong ownership of work

• Independent thinker & worker

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, preferably with experience supporting senior management 

• Good team player with willingness to participate and help others

• Experience with SQL
