Oracle DBA (Database Developer Admin )
- The ability to effectively communicate with clients, peers, and management
- Proficient in installing, configuring, documenting, troubleshooting and tuning one or more of the following technologies:
- Oracle databases
- Create and maintain complex databases from development through testing and production
Qualifications
Otional (nice to have)
• Monitors server and database capacity and performance
• Design and build database maintenance utilities
• Research, recommend, test and implement database changes related to capacity/performance
• Ensures databases follow corporate and business required backup schedules
• Designs and implements appropriate statistics gathering and database reorg strategies
• Reviews current and future database needs versus technology and capabilities; recommends replacement where appropriate
• Develops standards and practices for Database Engineering
• Maintains relevant database documentation to facilitate support by Database Engineering and Operations staffs
