Responsibilities of Collision Repair Technician - Apprentice:
CSN MGI Collision is a customer-focused collision repair facility committed to high-quality workmanship and safe, efficient repairs. We work with major insurers and private clients, and we take pride in maintaining superior standards and a positive team environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Collision Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality repairs in a fast-paced shop environment.
Our Goal is teach these Key Responsibilities with the supervision of Certified Technician:
• Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs
• Repair and replace damaged body panels (steel, aluminum, plastic)
• Conduct frame and unibody alignment using measuring systems
• Perform dent removal, filling, sanding, and surface preparation
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repair and refinishing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with estimators, painters, and management
• Follow workplace health and safety regulations
Qualifications for the Apprentice
• Registered or willing to register as an Auto Body Apprentice in Ontario
• Basic knowledge of tools and repair techniques (shop or school experience preferred)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
