The Paralegal will assist attorneys by providing support services including document preparation and litigation support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review and draft contract amendments and addenda, non-disclosure agreements, and discovery responses.
- Analyze and manage subpoenas and document preservation requests.
- Identify, organize, and coordinate retrieval of evidentiary documents
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules, calendaring deadlines, and providing timely reminders of same.
- Manage company-wide contract management system.
- Ability to participate in early morning and late-night meetings with global teams.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with the Register of Authority and/or PACER
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to balance multiple demands simultaneously.
- Patience under pressure, ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Attention to detail: Preparation of Legal Documents
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Paralegal certificate is required.
