• Performing specimen analysis by using laboratory tools and equipment, to study samples
and perform tests to accurately analyze bodily fluids and tissue specimens.
• Looking for abnormalities in samples that evidence disease and conveying this information
to the relevant medical practitioner.
• Using checklists, medical software, and retesting to get thorough and precise results.
• Suggesting potential treatment options.
• Writing pathology reports detailing specimens tested, results of tests, and the final
diagnosis.
• Undertaking research to improve identification and testing methods and finding innovative
ways to treat disease.
• Staying up to date with developments in the fields of pathology and medical practice
• Participate in professional training for technical laboratory staff (support/review standard operating procedures, participate in professional reiteration training...), hand holding of the current laboratory doctor and expert contributing to medical marketing material related to the department.
• Participate and support the work related to the Quality Management System (ISO, CAP, Biosafety ...)

Descriptions of Job duties:

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualification: Laboratory specialist (with a certificate to practice Medical Laboratory) with at least 5-10 years in field of Histopathology, IHC and Cytology. 
  • Experience in the above field of pathology medicine. 
  • Priority in English communication, basic understanding of Laboratory Information systems and digital imaging and reporting of cytology and pathology.
