We are seeking a reliable, highly organized, and detail-oriented Virtual Patient Care Coordinator to support the TPL New Patient Coordinator in processing incoming referrals.
Contract Type: Contractor Work Modality: Onsite in Mérida and Chihuahua, Mexico Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST
Responsibilities:
• Assist with processing new patient referrals.
• Collect and follow up on all required documentation to ensure complete and timely admissions.
• Upload, scan, and accurately organize documents in the patient’s chart.
• Review referral information to ensure completeness prior to scheduling.
• Call patients to coordinate new patient appointments.
• Confirm that appointments are correctly scheduled according to provider, location, and referral details.
• Notify legal teams and referral partners of appointment dates, times, and locations.
• Maintain accurate tracking of referrals, scheduling status, and outstanding items.
• Clearly document actions and communications in the EMR system.
• Communicate professionally with patients, law offices, and referral sources.
• Provide administrative support to the TPL New Patient Coordinator as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical administration or appointment scheduling.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high volumes of follow-ups and multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
• Experience with EMR systems; EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience in personal injury is a plus.
