Payroll Manager We are seeking a Payroll Manager to lead and oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires hands‑on payroll expertise, leadership capability, and strong system knowledge, particularly Paylocity. The Payroll Manager will manage payroll end‑to‑end, mentor payroll specialists, and act as a key partner to HR and Accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise payroll processing and payroll personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all payroll laws and tax regulations.
• Manage full payroll cycles, reconciliations, and audits.
• Oversee payroll systems, integrations, and upgrades.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting on employee data and reporting.
• Review timekeeping systems and compliance (SUI, ADP, EDD).
• Train payroll staff and enforce best practices.
• Communicate payroll policies and updates clearly.
Requirements
• 3+ years of payroll administration experience.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Paylocity expertise (required).
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations.
• Experience with ADP systems and Microsoft Office.
• C1 English fluency
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
