About the Role

As a People Operations Generalist, you will own the day-to-day operational execution of our People Operations function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a consistently positive employee experience. Reporting into our Senior Director, People Operations, you will support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding in a fast-paced environment.

In this highly detail-oriented role, you will manage benefits administration, HR systems, compliance processes, reporting, and documentation. You will be a driver of operational rigor and continuous improvement across People Operations. This is a full-time, remote position, with preference for candidates located in the Bay Area, California or near the TriState New Jersey area.

Responsibilities

  • Administer select benefits programs and respond to employee questions regarding benefits and enrollment.
  • Manage benefits communications, including timelines, materials, webinars, and reminders.
  • Reconcile benefits-related invoices, manage Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account funding, track benefits costs, and flag discrepancies.
  • Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant employee transitions.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding through ADP Workforce Now and BambooHR, including onboarding tasks, workflows, and templates.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and other onboarding sessions. 
  • Complete and audit Form I-9s and maintain compliance with employee recordkeeping requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records across our HR tech stack and internal trackers.
  • Support maintenance of  People Operations trackers and reports using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain and update the People Wiki, ensuring documentation is current and accessible.
  • Support leave of absence and workers compensation administration.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements across People Operations.
  • Provide HR Business Partner support as needed, including employee changes, audits, and special projects.
  • Support ad hoc People Operations initiatives and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of People Operations or Human Resources Operations experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environment strongly preferred
  • Strong benefits administration experience
  • Hands-on experience with ADP and BambooHR
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail with strong process ownership
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $120,000. Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
