The Pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and appropriate use of medications. They play a critical role in patient care by providing medication management, counselling, and education to ensure safe and effective treatment regimens. The Pharmacist will supervise the pharmacy technician, ensuring the highest quality standards of pharmacy operations. This position is based in Israel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pharmacy operations provide routine coverage during designated operational hours and maintain on‑call response capability outside those hours to support emergent clinical requirements.
- Manage controlled substances with secure storage, dual‑control access, inventory reconciliation, and audit‑ready documentation; ensure compliant importation, custody, dispensing, and accountability.
- Enforce cold‑chain management (temperature monitoring and redundancy) for temperature‑sensitive medications, vaccines, and biologics.
- Integrate medication governance and safety (electronic medical record—EMR—supported safeguards) with continuous quality assurance.
- Align formulary to Role 2E mission (resuscitation, anesthesia, ICU, behavioral health, and for ce health protection) with controlled expansion to reduce sustainment risk.
- Provides pharmacy services including stocking and controlling medications and filling prescriptions.
- Perform medication management by reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications.
- Provide patient counselling, information, and advice to patients regarding medications, including dosage, side effects, interactions, and potential risks and benefits.
- Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient care, making recommendations based on clinical judgments and medication management.
- Oversee inventory management and the procurement, storage, and distribution of medications and pharmacy supplies, managing inventory levels.
- Support health screenings as directed and within the scope of work.
- Offer ongoing education to patients and healthcare staff about medications and their appropriate use.
- Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Full unrestricted U.S. Pharmacy Licensure or country of record equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Minimum 3 years’ recent experience including 6 months within the last year.
- Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Education Required:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school or country of record equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
- May require bending, stooping, and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Valid Passport from country of record with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance. Applicants with current clearances are preferred.
- Must be able to relocate to Iseral for the duration of the project.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
Additional Information
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
