Job Summary: The Pipeline Engineer is responsible for supporting operations, capital and maintenance projects and asset integrity.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage pipelines and terminals capital and major maintenance projects, including front end engineering, procurement, construction management, project documentation and regulatory compliance.
Support mechanical integrity programs such as API 653 tank inspections/repairs, API facility piping inspections/repairs, pipeline smart pig runs and corrosion control programs.
Provide in-house engineering support to operations, including optimization and reliability.
Drive safety and mechanical integrity culture.
Qualifications
BS Engineering degree is required; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
5+ years of industry experience in an engineering/project management capacity.
Knowledge of ASME B31.4, API 650/653, 49CFR 195 and EPA Air and Water regulations pertaining to pipelines and terminals.
Pipeline and terminals construction experience.
Knowledge of pipelines, pumps, tanks, hydraulics, mechanical integrity/reliability principles, corrosion control, measurement and asset inspections.
Must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
Ability to abide by all DOT rules and regulations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals and reports.
