Your Mission:

We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to join our fast-growing Platform Operations team. Reporting to our Platform Operations Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading payment method migrations, including migrating cards on file from a merchant’s current PSP to Nuvei, moving existing tokens between financial entities, or transferring PCI-compliant data from Nuvei to another PSP.

You will support the team as a strategic focal and escalation point for business requirements, technical improvements, and critical incidents. The role involves matrix management of global activities impacting multiple clients across diverse industries and sectors. In addition, the Platform Operations Engineer works closely with Product, System Analysts, Development, Risk, and other key teams to optimize services and eliminate internal knowledge gaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of complex payment method migrations, ensuring smooth transitions of cards on file, tokens, and PCI-compliant data between PSPs or financial entities while minimizing merchant impact.
  • Acts as a technical trusted advisor and becomes a knowledge center about the company’s products, and a go-to person for technical queries – Becoming Nuvei brand and product expert.
  • Technical issues management, a focal point for technical queries by internal clients.
  • Performing acceptance tests for new global features.
  • Planning and leading rollouts of new services.
  • Providing insight reports of different Nuvei Core Platform aspects.
  • Investigating errors and logs while using SQL to retrieve relevant trends to overcome gaps in UI and providing in-depth analysis for internal departments.
  • Working with relevant stakeholders within the company

Requirements

  • Hands on technical support experience in Payments/Fintech industry (ecommerce gaming, travel and retail).
  • Knowledge using REST API and SDK
  • High level knowledge using SQL (hands on experience)
  • Technical background - analyzing and producing reports, investigating logs, basic programming or web development skills, internet experience, communication protocols (client-server, server-to-server, etc.) - IP, HTTP, etc.
  • Fast learner, multi-tasker, and tech oriented.
  • Practice in technical Product Management \ Technical Support
  • Accountability and project management capabilities
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex schemes.
  • Professional level of English, another language is an advantage.
