EVPassport is changing the EV Charging experience, and we want you to help build it.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Bid Management:
    • Review and evaluate contractor bids, RFP responses, and proposals.
    • Issue bid packages and manage RFI responses.
    • Analyze scope, cost, and risk in proposals.
  • Site Assessments & Walks:
    • Schedule and participate in site walks with contractors, utilities, and clients.
    • Assess site feasibility for EV infrastructure installations.
  • Design & Technical Review:
    • Review conceptual and construction drawings, civil and electrical layouts, and site plans.
    • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction).
    • Identify value engineering opportunities.
  • Permitting & Utility Coordination:
    • Coordinate with permitting authorities, utilities, and municipalities to streamline approvals.
    • Track permit applications and status to ensure project readiness.
  • Project Handoff & Readiness:
    • Prepare pre-construction packages for the field team, including final drawings, schedules, and scope documents.
    • Work with procurement to ensure timely delivery of long-lead items.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, legal, and deployment teams.
    • Support business development with technical input during client proposal stages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2/3 + years of experience in construction or pre-construction, ideally with infrastructure or EV-related projects.
  • Understanding of EV charging infrastructure, electrical systems, and civil/site development.
  • Familiarity with permitting, zoning, and utility interconnection processes.
  • Proficiency with construction drawings, CAD files, and project management tools 
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily remote with occasional travel to project sites (10–25% travel).
  • Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities as projects progress through the pipeline.

Compensation: For this role we are targeting $105,000 - $120,000 Placement within this base salary range depends upon several factors, including prior relevant job experience and skill set.
