About Us:

Liatrio is a boutique consulting firm that helps enterprises deliver software faster, safer and more efficiently. Our work is dual mode: engineering delivery and people enablement. We lead DevOps transformations in many different industries, anywhere from financial institutions to healthcare providers to the department of defense.

About the Role:

Liatrio partners with some of the largest and most complex enterprises in the world to revolutionize how they define, build, and deliver software products.

This is a senior, all encompassing product leadership role. You are both the visionary and the practitioner. You will shape product strategy, coach client product leaders, and stay close to the work through hands-on discovery, prioritization, and delivery support.
This is not a traditional Product Owner role. It is not a Scrum Master role. It is not a pure strategy role.

You are a player coach who can think several steps ahead while still rolling up your sleeves day to day. You will help enterprises move from projects to products, from output to outcomes, and from legacy processes to modern product thinking.

A core expectation of this role is that you can operate at enterprise scale: you can turn modern product practices into repeatable systems, playbooks, and operating models that can be adopted across many teams, not just executed well by one team.

What You Will Do

  • Lead enterprise product transformation from vision through execution, across multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Define and articulate product vision and strategy for new digital products and capabilities in greenfield or highly ambiguous environments.
  • Partner with client executives and senior stakeholders to reimagine product landscapes using modern product, design, engineering, and AI enabled principles.
  • Lead discovery efforts to uncover user needs, business problems, and opportunities for meaningful digital experiences.
  • Translate insights into clear product visions, value propositions, and multi phase roadmaps that guide delivery teams.
  • Establish measurable product outcomes and adoption signals, and help teams instrument, learn, and iterate against them.
  • Create scalable product playbooks and lightweight operating models that enable consistent product decision-making across many teams.
  • Serve as a player coach to client Product Owners and Product Managers by modeling strong product ownership in practice.
  • Pair with client product leaders on prioritization, backlog refinement, slicing work, and day to day product decisions.
  • Coach teams away from ceremony driven delivery toward small batch, iterative, outcome focused product development.
  • Teach teams how to gather, interpret, and apply user and market feedback to evolve products based on evidence.
  • Help teams reduce workflow friction and improve usability by applying practical, measurable approaches to adoption and user experience.
  • Operate at the intersection of product, platform engineering, and delivery to ensure solutions meet users where they work.
  • Serve as the example of what modern product leadership looks like in action.
  • What You Bring

  • 10+ years of product leadership experience across modern software environments (Product Manager, Product Leader, Product Strategist, Product Coach, or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience leading product strategy and delivery in complex, multi team environments, with clear examples of scaling practices beyond a single squad.
  • Strong consulting mindset: you can assess an organization, identify constraints, align stakeholders, and drive change through influence and enablement.
  • Proven ability to define new products and capabilities, not only optimize existing products.
  • Evidence that you can build and roll out repeatable systems: frameworks, playbooks, operating models, or training approaches that help other product leaders perform at a higher level.
  • Strong discovery and validation capability, including user centered research, hypothesis driven development, and iterative learning.
  • Practical understanding of adoption, usability, and workflow friction, including how to define and measure success in enterprise contexts.
  • Ability to communicate product strategy clearly to executives, engineers, designers, and delivery teams.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity where direction is not predefined and clarity must be created.
  • Clear distinction from process-only delivery roles. You understand value, outcomes, and how to drive them.
  • Nice to have

  • Experience inside large enterprise modernization or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience introducing product thinking into organizations with deep legacy constraints.
  • Experience working with platform teams or internal developer platforms, and driving adoption across engineering orgs.
  • Familiarity with AI enabled product workflows, product analytics, and instrumentation practices that enable evidence-based iteration.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments.
  • What Success Looks Like

  • Client product leaders become more effective because of your coaching and the systems you put in place.
  • Teams ship in smaller batches with clearer outcomes and faster learning loops.
  • Product strategy is translated into roadmaps and delivery decisions that stay aligned across multiple squads.
  • Adoption improves because products are designed to fit existing workflows and reduce friction, not because teams are trained harder.
  • Specifics

  • Full benefits including unlimited PTO, funded HSA option, 401k match, monthly LiveWell stipend, and quarterly company bonus
  • Annual base salary: $170,000- $200,000, depending on experience
  • Requirements

  • Employment eligibility: must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorship.
  • Travel availability: we divide our time between working remotely and visiting our client sites located throughout the U.S. Travel typically ranges from 8-12 times a year to a few times per month.
  • Liatrio is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity at our company and strive to create a culture of inclusion.
