Principal Consultant (Sr. Product Owner)

Must have Skills : Scrum Master, Product Ownership

We are looking for a seasoned Product Owner with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in owning and delivering enterprise-grade products. The ideal candidate will drive product strategy, manage complex backlogs, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and end-to-end backlog management
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements
• Convert business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Act as a single point of contact for business and delivery teams
• Make priority and scope decisions to maximize business value
• Support UAT execution and obtain business sign-off
• Ensure alignment with business objectives, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Track and report on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies
• Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Product Owner
• Strong expertise in Agile / Scrum frameworks
• Hands-on experience in backlog management, prioritization, and refinement
• Excellent skills in user story writing and defining acceptance criteria
• Strong experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong business analysis and requirement elicitation experience
• Good understanding of SDLC and enterprise-scale delivery
• Experience working with distributed and offshore teams

Good to Have:

• Domain experience in Banking / Financial Services
• Experience working in large transformation programs
• SAFe or CSPO certification
