Procurement Cost Analyst -Tempe, AZ 85284
Determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods related to subcontract proposals. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost proposals and costing audits.
Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Evaluates vendor cost and pricing proposals 700K and above in support of US Government Contracts. Relies on financial experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Basic Qualifications:
-8 years experience in procurement.
-Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain or technical discipline; an additional -5 years of experience in procurement may be considered in lieu of degree.
Additional Qualifications:
-Must have strong report writing skills
-Solid understanding of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR Part 15) and Cost Accounting Standards.
-Strong computer skills - MS Office, ERP software and data management.
-Comprehensive organizational, analytical and written and oral communication skills.
-Broad knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis techniques.
