Product Controller

Major Investment Bank  is looking for a Product Controller to support all front office activities in NY.

•Preparation and analysis of daily profit and loss reports

•Responding to Front Office queries

•Month-end activities including: posting month end journals, reconciliation of the balance sheet and P&L accounts

•Month-End Management Reporting

•Month End and Intra-Month Price Verification

•Completion of ad-hoc requests from Front Office, Regulatory, other Finance areas, and Tax

•Ensuring and maintaining a strong control environment

•Participating in projects that improve controls, processes and system enhancements

•Assist with regulatory filings

Qualifications

•3+ years of Product Control and/or Accounting experience with relevant industry exposure

•CPA a plus

•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

•Strong knowledge of US market industry practices, P/L calculation and attribution, valuation methodologies

•Proficient with Microsoft Office/Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

•Strong analytical, communication and management skill
