About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for building the reliability, scalability, and automation foundation for our systems. As the first SRE hire, you will not only be hands-on in ensuring system health and performance but also shape our reliability culture and engineering best practices as we scale.

What You Will Do

  • Align our platform’s behaviour in production with our ambitions and customer expectations by defining, monitoring, and maintaining Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets

  • Proactively identify, prioritize and eliminate single points of failure to ensure system resilience across critical workflows.

  • Pioneer the use of LLMs and AI agents to intelligently analyze logs, metrics, and automate root cause analysis.

  • Work at the intersection of CI/CD and IaC to automate operations and enable seamless disaster recovery.

  • Partner closely with developers to empower them with real-time insights about the systems they are working on, while also advocating automation and reliability in the SDLC..

  • Drive blameless postmortems after incidents, to support the team in improving its processes continuously and help us stay as close as possible to seamless operations.

Who you are

You are passionate about making systems scale reliably, and excited to put this expertise at the service of engineering companies pushing the limits of physical product innovation with AI. You bring:

  • Strong background in distributed systems at scale, on cloud, and on-prem HPC infrastructure

  • You hate solving the same problem twice and automate everything you can.

  • You are convinced observability is at the root of every stable system, and you know how to design and build it.

  • A deep understanding of programming, OS, and system architecture, enabling you to quickly connect the dots in case ofan issue.

  • A holistic understanding of systems and their impact, combined with excellent communication skills, to prioritize solutions effectively and informing stakeholders effectively in case of an issue.
