NBCUniversal Advertising Products & Solutions (AP&S) is responsible for the product development and project management of NBCUniversal’s full advertising technology suite. From sales support to campaign execution, delivery, and billing, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal’s $7B+ annual advertising business. The Platform Solutions team within Advertising Products & Solutions is responsible for supporting NBCUniversal’s day-to-day global advertising business by building, enhancing, and scaling internal products, as well as maintaining and streamlining operational workflows. This role will collaborate primarily with Ad Sales Management and Engineering teams to develop strategies, solutions, and tools to support the operational business teams and workflows. The Product Manager position will support the entire NBCU Portfolio—national, local, global, and syndication—for both linear and digital planning, sales, inventory, and finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the requirements gathering, design, and development of custom-built systems/products for planning, inventory, and pacing
- Responsible for documenting requirements across all business groups (Planning, Inventory, Account Services, Finance) working with NBCU’s custom systems/products
- Responsible for project management functions such as running meetings, recording meeting notes, and managing to a project plan
- Work closely with cross-functional product team, multiple business groups, and Engineering
- Work closely with Ad Sales Training COE on training plan and materials to train users and support teams on current/future functionality
- Communicate and document new product requirements and expectations to development team and technical executives
- Communicate application enhancements, updates, and process changes to business users and support teams
- Collaborate with support teams to ensure user needs/expectations are consistently met
- Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Research, and Finance leaders on Ad Sales process enhancements
- Share best practices with colleagues in Sales Solutions and other Comcast organizations
- Provide project management support and identify/document project risks plus mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution
- Support the VP in overall program management of the larger ad product technology roadmap
- Communicate project updates to the broader NBCU organization and/or key project stakeholders
Qualifications
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in media Ad Sales, Digital Media, or Product Management, with a strong understanding of ad operations, trafficking workflows, programmatic buying, and audience/data providers and digital media ecosystems
- Exceptional product management mindset with a proven ability to own initiatives end-to-end—from discovery and requirements gathering through execution, iteration, and delivery
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently, taking full ownership of projects while proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and solutions
- Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments; able to effectively prioritize, adapt quickly to changing needs, and manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
- Demonstrated ability to “wear multiple hats,” seamlessly shifting between strategic thinking, operational execution, stakeholder management, and problem-solving
- Strong creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions, improve processes, and approach challenges with fresh, forward-thinking perspectives
- Proven expertise in process documentation, system applications, and optimizing workflows to drive efficiency and scalability

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 (bonus eligible)
