THE CHALLENGE AHEAD 

KERV’s ad tags sit at the center of our monetization ecosystem. They power interactive formats, dynamic rendering, data collection, delivery workflows, and integrations across SSPs, DSPs, publishers, and streaming environments. As responsibilities for tag logic, validation services, and production support have expanded, the need for a dedicated product owner has become critical to ensuring scale, quality, and operational efficiency.

As the Product Manager, Ad Tags, you will define and drive the roadmap for KERV’s tag layer including rendering tags, dynamic tag services, validation systems, and future scale oriented improvements. You will partner with engineering, ad operations, integrations, and creative technology teams to streamline workflows, reduce support burden, and strengthen tag reliability across environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for KERV’s ad tagging systems including rendering tags, scanning tools, validation services, and dynamic tag components
  • Define requirements for improvements to tag generation, reliability, scale, performance, and cross publisher compatibility
  • Partner with engineering to design scalable backend architectures that support rapid growth
  • Work closely with Creative Technology and Ad Units teams to ensure tags support evolving interactive formats and metadata structures
  • Collaborate with Ad Operations to streamline delivery workflows, reduce support tickets, and improve QA processes
  • Align tag behavior and delivery workflows with SSP, DSP, measurement, and verification integrations
  • Develop product metrics covering reliability, latency, scale, and operational efficiency
  • Establish structured processes for tag testing, versioning, and validation to reduce breakage and context switching
  • Stay current with industry standards including VAST, VPAID, OMID, and publisher specific requirements, while staying up to date on IAB guidelines and best practices
  • With with the team to QA, support, and troubleshoot live campaigns
  • Support go to market readiness with documentation, training, and sales enablement resources

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

  • 5 or more years of product management experience in ad tech or digital advertising
  • Hands on experience with ad delivery systems, tag level products, or creative ad serving workflows
  • Strong understanding of VAST, VPAID, clicks, scans, interactions, measurement tags, and ad serving logic
  • Familiarity with DSP, SSP, ad server, and dynamic creative technologies
  • Ability to translate complex system behavior into clear requirements and decisions
  • Experience using data to guide prioritization, define success metrics, and optimize performance
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non technical audiences
  • A passion for building reliable, scalable systems that power interactive experiences
