What You’ll Do

As a Product Manager focused on Data Engineering, you’ll lead the roadmap and strategy for data initiatives that fuel enterprise tools like Salesforce, Marketo, and ServiceNow. You’ll work cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to build scalable data pipelines, optimize data warehouses, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Your work will directly impact how Pax8 teams access insights, accelerate growth, and deliver value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and evolve the data engineering product roadmap aligned with business OKRs.
  • Enhance data accessibility and usability across enterprise platforms.
  • Apply product thinking to improve the data consumer experience.
  • Collaborate across teams to prioritize and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and manage sprint execution.
  • Stay ahead of trends in data engineering, governance, and AI-first practices.
  • Use KPIs and OKRs to measure success and guide trade-off decisions.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of product management experience in technical domains like platform engineering or developer tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Redshift, BigQuery, Hive, Kafka, Airflow, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure and consumer pain points.
  • Proven ability to prioritize backlogs and write clear, actionable user stories.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira, Rally, or Trello.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a passion for solving complex problems.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance product management and data engineering outcomes.

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $112,000 to $139,000 or more depending on experience.
