The Product Manager is a technical and strategic leader who serves as the bridge between user experience and the core financial engine. This role is responsible for the entire digital lifecycle of a loan, from the customer-facing interface to the complex back-end systems that power credit decisions and disbursements.

What you’ll Do:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the lending product strategy by deeply understanding credit markets, competition, and user requirements, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision.
  • New Product Launch: Drive the end-to-end launch of new lending products by analyzing requirements, preparing ROI analyses, and establishing timelines in coordination with the Business/Commercial lead.
  • Full-Stack Ownership: Provide total product ownership of the "what users touch" (Front-end/UX) as well as the back-end loan engine that powers the credit lifecycle.
  • Core Loan and Credit Decisioning Engine System Development: Oversee and guide the building of the Core Loan and Credit Decisioning Engine System, ensuring scalability, compliance, and robust functionality for all credit products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Risk & Portfolio to co-own product policies and with Data & Model to ensure seamless integration of credit scores and automated decisioning.
  • Performance Iteration: Test product performance and iterate quickly, leveraging insights from Business Analytics to drive ongoing service improvements.
  • Operational Integration: Partner with Credit Operations to ensure back-office flows (KYC, disbursement, and repayment) are seamlessly integrated into the product experience.

What you’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in product management specifically within fintech or banking, driving vision for credit products, go-to-market strategies, and monetization through interest and fees.
  • Exposure to managing the end-to-end project lifecycle of financial services, including core banking systems or loan management engines. Experience in building or significantly contributing to the development of a core loan system is required.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders—from Risk and Data Scientists to Collections Managers—without direct authority.
  • Strong commitment to data-driven decision-making, using Business BI and early-warning signals to prioritize the product backlog.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible, with a willingness to contribute to the overall commitment of the P&L team goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex risk policies into simple user experiences.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English to minimize misinterpretation among cross-functional teams.
